Compassion in Action:  Stop the Traffic is pleased to announce the launch of "Mission Possible", a program focused on getting grade-school children (kindergarten to Grade 4) involved in making a difference by helping victims and those at risk of Human Trafficking.

Through "Mission Possible", kids will learn about the terrible poverty that Vietnamese refugees in Cambodia experience.  In a sensitive way RockPointe Kids will teach that because of extreme poverty sometimes parents in Cambodia sell their children to make money and then these children become slaves for the rest of their lives.  Kids will also be invited to help raise funds to help children at risk of Human Trafficking.

"Just like the adults of RockPointe, kids will receive money," says Rowena Hennink, Childrens Pastor at RockPointe Church. "This will either happen as a small group or individually. Kids will asked to raise more money with money they are given. We want kids to be creative! We want them to feel very proud of the money they are going to raise."

The goal of "Mission Possible" is to buy school uniforms and supplies for the Vietnamese children who attend New Hope Schools in Cambodia.  These refugee children cannot afford these essential items and cannot attend school without them.  By making it possible for Vietnamese refugee children attend school we can help keep these children out of a life of slavery.

Mission Possible begins April 10 & 11 at RockPointe's Bearspaw, Bowridge and Westhills locations.
